The Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC) was formed in 1997 and initially covered the shires of Emerald, Peak Downs, Bauhinia and Jericho. After amalgamation in March 2008, the above shires became the new Central Highlands Regional Council and the CHDC represents that council and region.

Industry Capability Network (ICN) in Queensland, a division of QMI Solutions Limited, is a not-for-profit organisation supported by Queensland State Government, whose aim is to proactively contribute to business and employment growth and foster innovation by identifying procurement opportunities to increase local industry access to major domestic and global projects and assist with showcasing and profiling Australian companies
